Types of Wood Fences
A Strong Foundation
For the weather in the PNW, we use only Master Halco Postmaster Galvanized Steel Posts to truly withstand the elements. These posts are set in concrete and provide a foundation that won't rot away, and won't collapse during the occasional strong winds that come through the rainy season.
Cedar Privacy Fence
Our most affordable wood fence style is a common two-rail "dog ear" or flat top Western Red Cedar fence. These picket boards provide a durable and rot-resistant barrier while maintaining a natural aesthetic with its warm tones, wood patterns, and a wonderful natural fragrance.
3/4 Picture Frame Cedar Privacy Fence
Our 3/4 Picture Frame 6-foot Cedar Privacy fence is a popular option for our customers to provide a greater detail for a more defined curb appeal.
These style fences come with an s-style top cap for a more luxurious look, and can be built with pressure-treated 4x4 wood posts or our lifetime powder coated posts pictured to the left for a fence that will best survive our wet climate.
Board on Board Cedar Privacy Fence
Our Board-On-Board (or "Board and Batten") wood fence is the ultimate privacy fence! Unlike the Shadow Box Fence (below), there are no gaps between the boards to ensure neighbors or passersby can't see what's happening in your yard while spending time with your family and pets. Because of the overlap, you're less likely to have small gaps form over time due to wood naturally shrinking and expanding over its life.
Shadow Box Fence (aka "Good Neighbor")
